This course provides an introduction to the study of topics related to happiness and the positive aspects of human experience. The first part of the course will focus on the basic areas of research in positive psychology and the methods that researchers use to study happiness, while the second half will broaden the focus to include big-picture issues and real-world application. This course is reading and writing intensive. Supplemental reading and viewing materials will be available on Moodle and Google. Class lectures will be conducted in person every week. There will be opportunities for students to meet and discuss their creative and learning processes or seek extra support from me by appointment. In the event of inclement weather or change in college operations, the class will meet virtually via Google at the designated class time
