Learning Goals: Upon completion of this lab students will be able to:
• Apply and interpret inorganic principles in a laboratory setting.
• Synthesize inorganic and organometallic compounds independently.
• Follow a complex laboratory procedure.
• Maintain a lab notebook consistent with an upper level lab class.
• Acquire analytical data of synthesized compounds using a variety of
instrumental techniques.
• Interpret analytical data and draw conclusions about the properties of
synthesized compounds.
• Integrate and apply principles from all areas of chemistry.
