Welcome! 👋🏾
Worship & Music in the Emerging Church is an elective, three credit, one semester course. Its primary goals are to:
1. Have students understand the historical and theological framework for the emerging church in the 21st century.
2. Have students design and lead liturgical experiences that reflect an ability to synthesize the historical and present day best practices of worship.
We will seek to accomplish these goals by reading the assigned texts, active participation in class discussions, in-class assessments, by attending emerging worship services of churches in the metropolitan area, and by designing final project worship services with others in the class.
